All of my engagement sessions with my couples are so special to me. But this one was particularly special because it was for a childhood friend that I haven’t seen in years!
Hayley and I grew up together in New York, and our moms happen to be the best of friends too. Over the years our paths have taken us to different cities and different states, but whenever we do get the opportunity to see each other it is so very sweet and it’s like no time has passed. When we met up for her engagement session, we reminisced on some hilarious memories we shared as young kids. One of them being the time that we used up an entire roll of my dad’s film when we took his camera and modeled in our Spice Girls outfits for hours. Man, we thought we were so cool (insert a million crying laughing face emojis here). I guess I really was destined to be a photographer if I was that into it at age 7.
When Hayley asked if I would be her and Jason’s wedding photographer, I was so incredibly honored. It’s so very sweet that all these years later, we get to work together and I have the honor of capturing her special day! Their wedding is coming up quick and I cannot wait to get to share the images from it. Stay tuned for the blog from their Myrtle Beach wedding day in August!
Until then, here is what we captured at their Wrightsville Beach sunset engagement session. 🙂
