I had been looking forward to this session for FOREVER!!! Ashley has become a sweet friend of mine over the last several months since she booked me for her and Thomas’s wedding. We connected because she listens to our podcast, and is a regular attendee of Sole Fitness (my dear friend’s workout group for women that I join in on and sometimes teach for). I knew within a few minutes of chatting on the phone with her for the first time that she was going to be an ideal bride. She is such a blast, is hilarious, and oh so sweet. I couldn’t wait to get to play around with her and her fiance Thomas (especially so I could finally meet him!).
Oh, and how could I forget…their sweet golden retriever pup (named Moose) also joined us for a few photos! AND I LOVE HIM!!! We got some super cute shots of their little family and then he was a trooper hanging in the car for the rest of the session.
We had such a great time at one of my favorite engagement session spots — Fort Fisher. It was an overcast day, but it made for some of the best light I’ve ever had there and it allowed us to try out some fun new locations, too! Ashley and Thomas are so fun and easy to be around, and I left the session telling them I would gladly third-wheel it with them any day. They were effortlessly cute together and I know their wedding day will be even more magical.
Thank you guys so much for trusting me with your big day!! I cannot wait to be a part of this Wrightsville Manor wedding next September! It also happens to be the day before Jordan and I celebrate our one year anniversary…so I just know it’s going to be a great weekend. 🙂
