Goodness, this session was fun! Cari and Alex came into town from the Raleigh area to squeeze in their sweet engagement photos before the holidays. They told me they wanted to do something a little different since they didn’t quite consider themselves to be beach people. But, they often make trips to Wilmington because they absolutely love brewery hopping and finding new beers to love wherever they go. If you’ve ever been to Wilmington, you know that this city had no shortage of breweries these days! So naturally, when we decided on shooting in downtown Wilmington, we had to start out at a brewery. I met up with this power couple at New Anthem and chatted while they enjoyed a cold one. Luckily even though it was December, we had a nice mild day and the most gorgeous golden hour too!
My favorite part of the evening was watching how much these two naturally laugh together, and the VIEW we got when we climbed to the rooftop of a parking garage. The sun was at just the right place and I loved how the light bounced off of the windows of tall buildings around us which made for the prettiest glow!
I cannot WAIT for this couple’s wedding day in June at one of my favorite spots– The Oaks at Salem! I already know both their wedding and marriage will be just as spectacular as this couple is. 🙂
