This month’s Milestone Collection highlight is Meri-Ashlen + Alex! These two came all the way to Wilmington from Raleigh in the spring to shoot their maternity session. I absolutely loved how this mama was feeling so confident in her pregnancy that she wanted to change up her session with something a little different. I always freak out a little bit inside when my clients are all about getting in the water. It always makes for the dreamiest shots!
In the summer they welcomed their sweet baby boy, John Hinton. We photographed his newborn session in their home and I couldn’t get over just how PERFECT this little angel was! He was so happy and content for the entire session and it was the sweetest seeing these parents so smitten with him.
To wrap up their Milestone Collection, we did an outdoor family session during one of the prettiest golden hours I’ve ever seen! Meri-Ashlen wanted to use these images for their holiday cards, so I love how festive their outfits were without being too over the top either. And AGAIN, John was a little ham and was laughing and smiling away for the whole shoot.
It was such an honor to get to document the journey to John through this Milestone Collection. I loved getting to connect with them over the months and see them grow into the family they are now!
