There are some sessions that stay with me long after I leave the beach — and this was one of them.
This sweet family welcomed their baby girl through adoption, and I don’t think I’ll ever forget the way her three big brothers absolutely adored her. From the very first moment, their love for her poured out in every smile, every gentle touch, every little hug. It actually had me in tears behind the camera — the kind of tears that come when you know you’re witnessing something truly sacred.
We started the evening at one of my favorite Wrightsville Beach parks, letting the boys play and explore so everything stayed relaxed and fun. Playground time is always a great way to ease kids into photos, and it gave me a chance to capture those candid, joy-filled moments of the whole family just being together.
After that, we took a short walk over to the beach, and the September evening could not have been more beautiful. The light was soft, the air was warm, and the ocean was calm — a perfect backdrop for celebrating this new chapter in their family’s story.
