Gabi & Trey’s Dreamy Fort Fisher Engagement Session

This engagement session was absolutely one of my favorites to date. Gabi and I had chatted back and forth on the phone several times throughout the booking process for their wedding and planning for their engagement session. And I just knew I was going to love working with her because she was one of those people you just instantly connect with! I was THRILLED when she and Trey decided to book me for their Asheville wedding in July.
Gabi and I were worried as we looked at a not-so-great forecast all week leading up to this session. She and Trey were going to be coming to Wilmington from Raleigh, so we were PRAYING that the weather would hold out for this engagement shoot. We were so blessed because the rain held out just enough, and the overcast evening made for a totally dreamy and romantic session!
Beforehand, we all met for the first time (in real life) at Wrightsville Beach Brewery. They told me their engagement story and their sweet plans for their wedding over drinks ( a komucha beer for me, wine for them) and it just got me even more excited to be a part of their big day. I love that they chose to do a coastal engagement shoot since their wedding will be in the mountains. At a VINEYARD. I mean….it’s going to be absolutely EPIC and I cannot wait to share those images with you all!
I had so so so many favorites from this session that it was hard to choose what to even blog. But here are a few highlights from this stunning couple’s Fort Fisher Engagement Session in February.
