This was yet another session that was on the books for quite some time, and COVID had to complicate things a whole lot more! Anastasia + Pante live in Charlotte but are from the Wilmington area. So they knew they would want to travel back to the coast for their engagement session. Even though we may have had to reschedule a bunch of times due to the crazy state of the world, the timing ended up working out so perfectly!
I especially loved that we were able to do a “sunrise” session, which is just a totally different feel than sunset photos. There is just something about the light, especially on the beach, that makes it so much more dreamy and romantic. If you’re willing to wake up early enough to catch it, it is almost ALWAYS worth it. I think it looks like these two are in some sort of movie or music video scene…right?!
This couple is already so special to me and we have only gotten to hang out in person for their engagement session so far. But they are the kind that leave an impact on you and make you feel like you have been friends forever. I have always been SO appreciative of my amazing brides and grooms, but it has become especially evident to me this year how blessed I am to have such incredible, caring, and understanding clients!
Anastasia + Pante’s actual engagement story looked a little different than the images here– since Pante proposed under the Charlotte skyline last winter. He timed it so perfectly, too, knowing that it would be right before they traveled home to Wilmington for Christmas and could celebrate and share the news with their family and friends. I love when grooms make those subtle decisions that mean the world to their future brides. There is something about seeing your family and best friends after getting engaged that just reignites the magic all over again! 🙂
These two will be tying the knot over Memorial Day Weekend of 2021 at the Landfall Country Club and I cannot WAIT to celebrate them so big!
